About LoadFavs.com
LoadFavs.com is a website which allows you to store and edit your own bookmarks, files, favorite YouTube videos, games and more. Change your home page today.

Listed on the homepage, are some of the most popular websites today.

Members:
When you become a member, you can edit this list of websites, videos, and more. Every time you login, your list will remain as you last left it. No other visitors will be able to view your personal links, videos, etc.
Non-Members:
Visitors who have not logged in cannot edit or store any website links. However they are free to browse and click on the listed links. TOP


Changing/Updating Links:
Any of the default bookmarks in your LoadFavs spread can be customized by simply changing the link and site name.
Sample Link

A. Clickable website link:
Displays the site name and clicking leads you to the URL in the "Link URL" box C.

B. Editable Site Name:
this changes what you see in the clickable website link A

C. Editable Link:
This is where you enter the link to the website. You must include HTTP:// or HTTPS:// in the beginning of your link for it to work.

D. Change Favorite Site Button:
Clicking this button will save the changes to the number link you are editing. TOP



Changing/Updating Videos and Extras:
All of the default videos and extras in your LoadFavs spread can be changed, by simply changing the embed code.
Videos/Extras

A. Displayed video name:
Displays the "video name" given in box "C."

B. The actual video content:
This is the content that was interpreted by the embedded code inserted into box "D."

C. Video Name Box:

Anything entered here will update the title of the video ("section A.")
when "change video" is clicked.

D. Embed Code Box:
This is where you can enter code that will effect the current box.
The code can be flash objects, such as games media players or any other html code desired. Anything entered here will be displayed in "section B."

E. Change Video Button:
Clicking this will submit any changes made to boxes C. and D. TOP



Uploading & Storing Files:
Upload and store files up to 20MB. For later access from another computer, or send the"File link" in an email, or even put files here for viewing on other sites (ie. upload a photo and link to it from myspace to diplay on your myspace page).
Storing Files

A. Download Link to File:
This contains the link to the file and the file title entered in box "D."

B. Delete File:
Clicking this will delete the uploaded file.

C. Link address to the file:
Don't enter info into this box.
If you wish to share you file with others, copy this link and past it in an email etc..
(this field is generated when a file is created)

D. File Title:
Anything entered here will appear as part of the download link after the file is uploaded.

E. Select File:
Clicking browse will allow you to select a file from your hard drive to upload to the site.

F. Upload File Button:
Clicking "upload file" will begin the file upload. Note: once upload is complete, your download link will be be created. TOP


How to make LoadFavs.com your home page:

Internet Explorer for Windows
1. Go to http://www.LoadFavs.com

2. Pull down the "Tools" menu of Internet Explorer.

3. Select "Internet Options."

4. The "General" tab should appear.

5. You'll see the "Home page" box at the top.

6. Click the "Use Current" button in that box.

7. Click "OK."

8. Next time you open Internet Explorer you should see Load favs.com as your home page.

FireFox Browser:

1. Go to http://www.LoadFavs.com

2. Pull down the "Tools" menu of Firefox.

3. Select "Options."

4. Click on the "General" tab.

5. You'll see the "Home Page" box at the top.

6. Click the "Use Current Page" button in that box.

7. Click "OK."

8. Next time you open FireFox you should see Load favs.com as your home page.

Safari for MacOS X:

1. Go to http://www.LoadFavs.com

2. Pull down the "Safari" menu.

3. Select "Preferences."

4. Click on the "General" tab.

5. Under the "Home page:" field click "Set to Current Page" button beneath it.

6. Close the preferences box.

7. Next time you open Safari you should see Load favs.com as your home page.

All other browsers are pretty similar in changing the home page. TOP

Creating Folders:

Every section of LoadFavs.com has its own folder set. If you run out of spaces to place your bookmarks, videos, files, or extras, simply add a new folder.
Creating Folders

A. Current Folder:
This displays the current folder you are viewing. Every section of LoadFavs.com starts with the default "Main" folder which cannot be deleted. All other folders can be deleted by clicking "Delete Current Folder" located on the right of the page.

B. Folder list:
This is the list of all folders in the current section ie:Bookmark Folders. Clicking any of the folders will bring you to the selected folder and will display the contents of that folder.

C. Add New Folder Link:
This is where you create a new folder. Clicking this link will bring you to a page that will ask you for a folder name. Enter a folder name and click the "Create Folder" button. When the folder is created you will be brought to the new folder you've just created. TOP

Getting and embedding YouTube code:

To add your own YouTube videos to your "My Videos" section, simply go to YouTube and view the video you'd like to add to LoadFavs.com. Then select and copy the code under "Embed:" to the right of the YouTube video playing. Once you have copied the code, go to your LoadFavs.com "My Video"s section and replace any of the current videos by replacing the old "Embed Code" with the new one you just copied from YouTube.
